Why we use it, and our legal reason

To keep our systems secure and our records in order. Our reasons are our legitimate interests in running a safe service, and our legal duty to keep accounting records.
We never sell your personal information.

Marketing emails
We only send marketing emails to people who ticked the box to say yes. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us through the enquiry form. We will stop straight away.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies, so there is no cookie banner. The home page and iCan Speak page show videos hosted on YouTube, loaded in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, so YouTube only receives data about your visit if you choose to play a video. If you use the iCan app at icanthinking.com, its own privacy policy applies.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to 12 months unless you become a client. We keep client information while you work with us and for up to 12 months afterwards, unless the law says we must keep it longer. Accounting records are kept for six years. If you unsubscribe from marketing emails, we keep just enough information to make sure we do not email you again.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct it or delete it, to ask us to limit or object to how we use it, to ask for it in a portable format, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To use any of these rights, send us a message through the enquiry form. We will reply within one month.
Children
Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If the changes matter, we will tell you by email.
